Dryads are the ancient spirits that live within trees. They embody the healing and magikal powers of that tree. When a face is revealed to you in the silver bark of a birch or you feel strengthened and empowered by the oak beneath which you are sitting, this is the energy that the dryad is releasing through the tree to you.
