OOAK

All Whispers are OOAK (One Of A Kind). Each one is lovingly hand-sculpted using polymer clay, and wire is shaped for the structure of the body. A mold is NEVER used at any point in the process. Their clothes are hand stitched, and their wings (if applicable) are created using an array of materials such as dried pods, silver wire and stones, steel wire and fabric, or polymer clay. Every piece of driftwood used--collected after storms on the coast of Oregon and the beaches of Flathead Lake, Montana--is selected to set each individual Whisper in its own environment. Various semi-precious stones, such as garnets, amethysts, peridot, crystals, and even rubies, are thoughtfully placed in the nooks and crannies of the wood to create a unique and magikal space--to make sure every Whisper feels at "home." Added touches, such as dried mushrooms, sprigs of various plants, and walnuts, are collected in the forest and positioned to further enhance this "cozy" feeling.
In addition, each Whisper comes with an original story they desired told (from a paragraph to 8 pages long) and a Certificate of Friendship (Certificate of Authenticity). The newer ones are all signed by the artist.
